Disneyland is a dream vacation, and almost a rite passage for anyone with kids. The rides, the wonder, the majesty… and, of course, Mickey, a Disneyland adventure is once in lifetime trip. And you’ll want to make the most of it. If you’re planning a big trip to the happiest place on earth, start right here at Xpress Shuttles.
Get to Disney Early
You’ll want to get the most time out of your trip to Disneyland by getting to the park early. Getting to Disneyland before it opens is called the rope drop, and it’s a great way to squeeze in a little extra fun into your day. But keep in mind that there are lines and security prior to entry, so you’ll want to arrive to the park 45 minutes before the official park opening.
Prioritize Big Attractions
Don’t just hop on the first ride you see. You’ll want to make a game plan of every ride, and tackle the big attractions first. The bigger rides just draws more visitors and you’ll want to do them first thing in the morning before the afternoon crowds build. For Disneyland, you’ll want to get on line for Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and the Matterhorn as soon as possible.
Maximize with the MaxPass
For a little extra money, you can get a MaxPass to help bypass lines a little bit. The MaxPass allows you to book times to visit attractions on a Smartphone or device. It’s the perfect way to keep on your schedule at the park. You can also still use the FASTPASS system to gain access with paper passes.
Dine with Characters
The highlight for a trip with young children has to be meeting your favorite Disney characters, and one of the most fun ways to do this at a character meal. There are different themed meals at the Disney parks as well as the onsite hotels. It’s a fun and personal way to meet your favorite Disney characters, get autographs, and pose for pictures. However, you’ll want to reserve a themed meal well in advance (you should do it when you book your trip). A character breakfast is fun way to start your day at Disneyland.
Book a Shuttle Service
Getting your tickets to Disneyland is just the half of it, you’ll need to get there, too. A good way to save some time and money is use a shuttle service to the park. This especially useful if you’re staying at an off park property. Shuttle services are also a useful way to get from LAX to Disneyland.
